Vinpearl Land – Amuzement Park in Nha Trang
One of the most important sights in the city is called Vinpearl Land amusement Park. It is situated on a separate picturesque island that includes an aqua park, guest villas, the 5star Vinpearl Resort, as well as many restaurants and attractions. In general, it has absolutely everything for a great vacation for adults or families with children.

Interesting fact: Originally, the island was named Hon Che (which means “Bamboo” in translation), however, after the Vinpearl Land Amusement Park was build and the large “Hollywood” style letters appeared on the slope of the mountain the name “Vinpearl” clung to the island.
How to get to Vinpearl Park?
There are only two ways to get to the entertainment island. By sea: (by ferry, by boat or by special taxi-canoe) or to catch the longest cable way in the world which is a sight in itself. We strongly recommend to use the cable car. It operates every day from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm. During that trip you will enjoy breathtaking views, so, don’t forget to bring a camera to take pictures!
Interesting fact: the length of the Vinpearl cable way is 3320 meters which is the world’s record for an above the sea cable way. The trip takes only 12 minutes. This “road” has a capacity of 1500 people per hour. The building of the cable way was finished in 2007, and the Guinness Book of World Records entered the construction on its list of miracles.
To get to the departure point of the cable car is possible by bus number 4, which runs on the third line in the tourist quarter, its last stop is the entrance into the cable car. Ticket price is 700 dongs (30 cents) each. The bus stops at the end of its route next to cable way ticket booth, where you can buy tickets – same price, no line.
Motorbikes are another popular transport to be used. That’s the only way along with a taxi to get back to the hotel after night promenades! If you prefer to take a taxi, the price for it from the center of Nha Trang would be around 100 000 dongs ($ 4.5)
Vinpearl Park tickets price list
Tickets look like plastic cards. They allow the guest to have unlimited access to all of the attractions of the Park. However, the food in restaurants must be paid for, prices are reasonable (around $5 for lunch). Tickets prices depend on a visitor’s height. Tickets can be bought directly at the park entrance or in advance at any hotel from your guide.

The park is divided into several thematic zones: the aqua park, the aquarium, the indoor playing complex, the shopping street, the carousels and swings section and family games area. There are stands with booklets which describe all the significant places in the Park near the entrance.

Useful tips for the amusement park Vinpearl visit
- The park occupies a vast territory, and it is very difficult to get around even if the whole day is spent there. The best solution is to spend couple of days there: first day, for example, would be dedicated to aqua attractions and the second day would be for slides, slot machines, performances, etc. Always come to the Park in the early morning and preferably on a weekday, when there is no inflow of local residents. Otherwise, several hours could be spent in the lines to popular attractions.
- It is forbidden to bring any food or beverages to the island. The Security checks all the bags and purses at the entrance to the cable car for that matter and even a bottle of water will be taken away. The only exception is baby food (when you come with a child): fruit puree, yogurt, sliced fruit. There are many inexpensive cafes and restaurants in the area with delicious and abundant food.
- The cab on the cable car can accommodate up to 8 people, but usually they go half empty. The trip time to the island is 12 minutes.
- Don’t forget to grab beach accessories: a towel, swimming trunks or/and swimsuit and a sunscreen. If you forget something – do not worry, there are little stores next to the pools where necessary things could be purchased.

Aqua Park
The water park is divided into the three zones: the slides, the family zone and the kids zone. There is the pool with a small depth for children and sunbeds for parents next to it – very conveniently reclining and allowing to drink a cool cocktail while watching the children.
Passive recreation fans will like the beach with snow-white sand delivered here from the continent. It’s very pleasant to walk bare-feet and watch the sunset here.
Another popular passive entertainment is the rafting on an inflatable float along the artificial river flowing through the Aqua park. The slow pace will not strain you – you can relax and just sway on the waves.
There are statues of animals on the territory of the aqua park, children like them very much, they can stop, for example, by the hippopotamus figure for a good half an hour.
Extreme lovers will be fascinated by the cool steep slides. At number 42 on the map there are 6 multi-colored hills in a row with a length of 100 m each. You can even arrange a real race on the downhill with a fun company here.
On another water slide called “Kamikaze” you can accelerate to a speed of 60 km / h, while changing the direction of movement from the left to the right, and vice versa. Adrenaline lovers should definitely visit it.
Aquarium
There is a huge aquarium with hundreds of marine inhabitants on the island of Vinpearl. Bright fish, huge lobsters, quaint corals, young sharks, a long glass tunnel – all of this is waiting for you to visit the aquarium. The area is divided into several sections, depending on climate zones of fish habitat. A scuba diver appears every few hours in the water with food for marine life and performs an unforgettable show for spectators.
Shows and performances of Vinpearl Park
Besides the Aqua park, outdoor entertainment and indoor games, Vinpearl Park is famous for its exquisite and modern performances being organized only at the largest parks in the world.
The show of street magic and show on stilts being performed on the Square of Dolphins and the Ocean Square. All the entertainments are held on schedule.
[table “44” not found /]Also worth mentioning the water Music Scene with a capacity of 5000 seats for the world-class events. For example, beauty contests “Miss Vietnam 2006”, “Miss Charm of Vietnam 16”, “Miss World 2010″were performed here.
Attractions
In addition to numerous slides, swimming pools and the aquarium there are a lot of other attractions in the amusement park: roller coaster, carousels, Ferris wheel.
Make sure to try the ride on the electrical sled. Special sleds designed for two persons climb up the slope, and then, under the influence of gravity, break down along a winding road. The seats in the sleds are located one behind the other, and the main one is the rear passenger – it has a lever for braking the sled.
Slot machines and 4D-cinema
In the premises of the Vinpearl Park rooms with slot machines could be found. There are children’s and adults’ versions of games. There is a 4D-movie theater nearby – during a video session the “real” wind will be blowing, “rain” drops will fall, the temperature will drop and everything will shake like during an earthquake.
There is a room for children in the building. Children can stop by for a nap, or stay in the play area under the supervision of the Park’s professional staff.
